Quick restricter for CPI models

Quick restricter (restrictor plate) to be installed between the header pipe and the expansion chamber.

Fits CPI moped models with a separate header pipe and a low-mount exhaust. Installed between the header pipe and the expansion chamber. Before ordering, please check that the spacing between adjacent bolts in the four-bolt connection of the exhaust expansion chamber is 27-29 mm measured from center to center. Also fits other mopeds with a four-bolt exhaust connection and matching bolt spacing.

The restrictor is delivered with a center hole slightly smaller than stock. Hole size is 9 mm. With this, all models will surely run under 45 km/h.

The restrictor is easy to drill yourself if it restricts power too much. The best tool for drilling is a step drill bit with the desired diameters. It is recommended to increase the hole size a couple of millimeters at a time until the desired restriction is achieved through a test ride, to ensure the hole does not accidentally become too large: drilling the hole is easy – making it smaller is difficult.
